Ruth Jonsdottir was a girl, who was very different from the other girls of her age. When the other kids watched cartoons she was always interested in watching the geography channels. She was very
good at studies.
She was very interested in traveling. Ruth Jonsdottir used to travel a lot with her parents. For every vacation Ruth’s father made it a point that they went to some distant place. She was always
good at the geography during her schooling days. She considered Columbus as her hero.
Ruth Jonsdottir read the ancient books of the various navigators about how they navigated along the oceans and land. She was very excited reading these journals. She always wondered how they made
such maps with so much precision.
Once Ruth Jonsdottir met her father’s friend who had a shop named Maps on Sale who made maps for some scientific journal. She was very excited listening to the job profile of a cartographer.
Her parents allowed her to have full freedom in her life. So she had no problem with any of her decision. She started working at Maps on Sale. Ruth Jonsdottir was trained there and made many maps
which were published in many journals.
The maps made by her helped many navigators to find their ways through the odds. Thus she always had the desire to learn something new in her life. Ruth Jonsdottir experimented many ways of
making maps with more precision covering all the territory of the region.
Ruth Jonsdottir was always caring-hero and made utmost effort to check that her customers were satisfied with her efforts. The
owner of the shop always considered Ruth as one of the main reasons for their success in the business.
